A fast-paced criminal gang story of a kingpin boss who rose from poverty to riches through a trusting, sexy girlfriend and a poor kid from the suburbs, rising to power in a clandestine operation.
The unexpected twists and turns make every member a target on the street. In this novel, you have to be decorated with the correct street tattoo to get anywhere. Nobody is above the law, and at every step, you are being watched by undercover cops.
The showdown at the end is riveting and brutal. Only the best can win control of this vast drug cartel in New Zealand. Who are they, and how did they climb to the top of the ladder with so little—and yet such cunning steps—that nobody notices?
Read this book—but don’t dream of becoming one. You cannot. It is too simple.
